Instead, it came from the fingertips of President Kirk Schulz, who Tweeted his energy level the Monday after K-State’s first home football game of the season.

Hundreds filed into Bramlage Coliseum to welcome Kansas State University’s 13th president, Kirk Schulz. Members of the student body, faculty, staff, and friends and family of K-State filled the seats of Bramlage as they listened to Schulz be inaugurated into his new position as the President of K-State.

U.S. Department of Education provides grant for Kansas State students to study in Brazil September 23rd

Kansas State University is scheduled to participate in an exchange program with Brazilian universities. The university received a four-year grant for $257,000 for a U.S. and Brazil student exchange program from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas State University Athletics

The Kansas State Wildcats compete in Division I-A of the NCAA in football, baseball, volleyball, rowing, and men’s and women’s basketball and golf, among others.

For many K-State fans the sport of choice is football. Since 1989 the Wildcats have had an 83-16-1 record at Wagner Field in KSU Stadium. The University has recently spent $30 million updated its stadium and related facilities to accommodate the crowds of 50,000 fans that regularly attend games.

The University’s basketball facility, Bramlage Coliseum, seats 13,500 Wildcats basketball fans who enjoy the comfort of one of the Big 12 Conference’s most up-to-date facilities.

Sports facilities include a coliseum, a football stadium, a baseball stadium, a field house, a golf course, and stables. Teams are supported by a marching band, a color guard, and a mascot.
